High Tide

A large survival / exploration map that is focused in the forests around the swelled banks of a large river. After a zombie outbreak occurred on the island, the local military site received backup in order to destroy the bridge and turn the entire island into a quarantine zone. Somehow the infection managed to spread. To protect themselves, they dug a trench around their installation and flooded it from the river. Still this wasnt enough, and most life within the area has been wiped out or turned. Can you manage to survive? Currently a work in progress, but several locations are considered complete at this point. ISLAND LOCALES o Mysterious Shed - The zombies dont seem to come near this. I seem to have nightmares of being eaten and each time, I wake up here... o Commercial Docks - The island in the middle of the map is home to a large commercial docks. If you're lucky enough to find a ship here it may be full of useful survival goodies. Before the zombie virus took hold, smugglers also ran guns from this port. This may be a good place to try and stock up on firearms before you leave the island. o Island Station - The lone gas station and mechanic on the island. Surely there will be something good to find here. o Flooded Village - As the banks of the river rose this village became submerged. The medical clinic and restaurants here make for good scrounging targets, but take caution, for the flooded streets will hamper your movement. o Silver Point Rec Center - Check out this small recreation center for a scenic view and potential camping gear. FOREST LOCALES o The Dig Site - A risky climb down a series of ladders leads to an archeological dig. Some say an artifact was unearthed that brought about the virus, but who's to say if there's truth in that matter. Still, there may be useful items to find there. o National Guard Base - The first responders to the infection now succombed to the zombie hordes. This place may be overrun by the undead, but there are still many sup
