Outer Wilds

Wow, this is my most popular workshop submission ever. Not just on Universe Sandbox, but ever. Thank you all very much, this single system has more downloads than all my other hundreds of workshop items that I've posted in the past ten years combined, so again, thank you all. Also, yes, I am aware of the mysterious bright light that illuminates the whole system. I will remake the system in the future to get rid of that light, but that'll come down the line. For now, I'm focusing on recreating the land features of each of the planets. Important! When loading in, make sure the system is paused, then head to the Sim tab and make sure to re-enter the gravitational constant. Otherwise, the planets will crash into the sun. This is my most accurate recreation of the Outer Wilds system, from the game Outer Wilds. Warning! This contains major spoilers for the entire game and the Echoes of the Eye DLC, please play them before downloading this system. The Outer Wilds system revolves around a small K-Class orange Dwarf star. And by 'small,' I mean a diameter of four kilometres small. The Outer Wilds system is on a roughly 1:100 000 scale compared to our own system. The system is home to seven planets, each with their own special features. The Hourglass Twins, Ember Twin and Ash Twin, are a pair of binary planets that orbit one another. They get their name from the large column of falling sand between the two, which gradually fills the various cave systems of Ember Twin, all the while Ash Twin drains. Timber Hearth, a planet dominated by mountains, rivers, trees and plains, the home of the Hearthian race, which have just begun to venture out and explore their system, led by the Outer Wilds Ventures, Timber Hearth's only space program. With six astronauts and four ground crew, it makes up a good portion of the Hearthian population. Timber Hearth also has one small moon, named the Attlerock.
