The Cacer IV System

DO NOT UNPAUSE SIMULATION --------------------------------------------------------- Cacer (Kay-Ser) IV has had a violent past, where Cacer IV A was a gigantic star over 8 solar masses. It only lived a few million years before exploding and collapsing into a neutron star. This event destroyed the inner planets of the Cacer IV A system and distrupted the formation of the remaining planets. Cacer IV B was much better insulated from the supernova and has subsequently had a much more traditional and standard upbringing. CELESTIAL BODIES Cacer IV A: A neutron star burning at an immense temperature. It is over 7 billion years old and has calmed down significantly since its birth, allowing for life to evolve on its planets. Canare: The closest planet to Cacer IV A, covered in extreme, red mountains with large colonies of teal algae lining the bodies of water. The radiation is too immense for life to evolve beyond the unicellular stage. ---Aposle: The one and only moon of Canare, which somewhat resembles our own luna. Armines: Thanks to this planets strong magnetosphere, harmful radiation is kept mostly at bay, allowing for lush purple jungles to cover the surface. As pretty as it may be, it is also highly dangerous. The fauna grow to extreme sizes due to the high oxygen content and could pose a threat to any outside explorers. Beneath the surface, large caverns of water are responsible for hydrating most of the planets lowland jungles, and keeping it from turning into a desert. ---Kassen: The single moon of Armines, which has a high content of radioactive metals, specifically uranium and radium, which sweep across the surface and taint it a faint green. Unlike many of the other silicate moons, Kassen has an atmosphere of Carbon dioxide from the geothermal activity stirred up by its high radioactive metal content. Cerulea: A vibrant world covered in blue "palm trees" and savannahs, it has proven the perfect environment for intelligent life to evolve and flourish. The Cerulia
