This system has 3 substellar companions: -GJ229B -This brown dwarf was first discovered in 1994 and was one of the first brown dwarfs ever confirmed in 1995. -GJ229Ab -This super-Neptune mass planet was first discovered in 2014. -GJ229Ac -This super-Earth mass planet was discovered in 2020 and orbits on the far edge of the habitable zone, similar to Mars in our solar system.
