📋 About This Mod
The Galactic Center is the rotational center of the Milky Way galaxy. It is composed of the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A and the many stars which orbit it. This simulation includes Sagittarius A and the predicted orbits of stars around it. The Galactic Center in real life has an orbiting gas cloud, but this simulation excludes it. Also, the star S2 has a Rosetta orbit around Sgr A* which is excluded here because Universe Sandbox does not take into account effects predicted by General Relativity. All data for inferred orbits comes from Gillessen et al. 2017 and GRAVITY 2019.
