Vulcan-Charis (Star Trek)

( T'Khasi--T'Khut ) Vulcan is the homeworld of the advanced race of humanoids known as Vulcans. The planet, which is called T'Khasi in the native tongue, is an arid desert planet with few bodies of liquid water. It is significantly larger and more massive than Earth, but possesses a thinner atmosphere. Part of a binary planetary system, Vulcan and its volcanic companion, Charis, orbit around a shared center of mass as they revolve around the interior edge of their orange sun’s habitable zone.
