Automatic Searchlight Control

This mod adds a toggle to Standing Orders (Crew → Boat) that handles searchlight control for you: at dusk the crew is ordered to turn the searchlight on, at dawn to turn it off. The mod does not flip the searchlight directly. It uses the same system as vanilla lighting management - a SwitchPowerAction order in the crew's action queue. Sailors walk to the station and do the job, just like in the base game. Features One toggle, Searchlight management, in the Standing Orders panel on the Boat tab - next to vanilla lighting controls. At dusk (day → night) - order the crew to turn the searchlight on if it is off. At dawn (night → day) - order the crew to turn it off if it is on. No repeated orders during the same night or day: if you manually switch the searchlight off at night, the mod will not turn it back on until the next dusk. Localization: English ✓ Українська ✓ Deutsch ✓ Русский ✓ Q&A Do I need a new career? No. The mod does not break saves or affect campaign progress. Can I disable it mid-game? Yes - uncheck the toggle in Standing Orders; no restart needed. Why did the searchlight not turn on at night? Make sure the mod is enabled in the mod menu, the toggle is on, the boat is on the surface, and night has begun (day → night transition). The order is issued only when day changes to night, not every minute of the night. Compatibility with other mods? The mod adds a single checkbox to an existing UI group and does not add new rows, so it should not shift other mods' UI elements.
