Long Distance Terrain Loader

Description: This mod increases the distance at which coastal terrain remains loaded and visible from your submarine. The Terrain Loads/Unloads at exactly 17km distance from the submarine. It can be installed or removed at any time without affecting your savegame. I consider this mod atm as an test version, as I dont know if the way I implemented the longer loading distances can break something. In my testings I wasnt able to find any abnormal situations, aswell I didnt notice any FPS drops caused by the extended range. Make sure you use the highest setting for "Simulation Distance" in the game (+65%) Additional Notes: Because the coast stays loaded at a greater distance, the game will also require you to travel farther away from land before higher time‑compression levels (above ×144) become available. To reduce the time you spend waiting to get offshore, I included a file named “General.xlsx” in this folder: Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\3746846377 This file increases two time‑compression levels: x48 = x84 x144 = x192 These are the maximum values the game allows while still being usable near the coastline. You can edit the other time compressions to your liking via excel or librecalc. To activate these changes, place the General.xlsx file into the “Data Sheets” folder included with this mod. The modified time‑compression values only apply to new savegames. Existing saves will not update their data‑sheet values. There is also an bug, which causes when you load a game in coastal area, that you are forced to sail for 1-2 minutes on x12 time compression.
