CALMER SEAS A smoother, quieter ocean for UBOAT. Calmer Seas reduces the dynamism of the ocean surface, making the water noticeably flatter, gentler, and more glass-like, especially in calm sea states. It is designed for players who prefer a more peaceful patrol experience, cleaner screenshots, cinematic surface cruising, harbour approaches, and a calmer visual atmosphere overall. This mod does not alter submarine buoyancy, ballast, flooding, damage, diving behaviour, ship mass, or core U-boat physics. Your boat should handle normally. The aim is simply to make the sea less restless and more serene. The real Atlantic was rarely perfectly calm, but if you want UBOAT to have a quieter, smoother, more cinematic ocean, this mod is for you. COMPATIBILITY Made for UBOAT 2026. 1 / Patch 19. (Working as of May 18th 2026) To test use 'Weather Calm' within the console. This mod should work with most other mods unless they also change weather or ocean data. If you use another weather or sea-state mod, place Calmer Seas later in the launcher load order if you want it to take priority. For the strongest effect, enable the mod before starting a patrol. Existing saves may already have weather conditions stored, so the effect may be clearest after a fresh patrol, reload, or new campaign. All sea states will be somewhat calmer, with the actual 'calm' state being almost glass.
