🌊 U-Souls: Bring your crew to life with AI Have you ever wanted your UBOAT crew to stop being a bunch of silent scripts? U-Souls is a project that turns every submariner on your boat into a fully-fledged personality. I've created a bridge between the UBOAT game engine and neural networks (LLM). Now your officers and sailors can communicate, react to situations, and execute your voice commands. ⚓️ KEY FEATURES: Voice and text control: Command the boat without touching any buttons. The mod recognizes your speech and instantly executes orders. Say into the microphone: "Dive 50 meters", "Slow ahead", "Course 2-7-0", or "Silent running". Live communication with the crew: You can talk to absolutely anyone on board. Upon first meeting, every sailor gets a unique character, biography, and speaking style. Context awareness: The crew knows what's happening around them! They receive real-time game data: current depth, course, fuel supply, damage, and your kill tally. Ask the engineer about the state of the diesels, and he will answer based on the actual boat stats. Flexible role setup: You can define the communication style for each role (boatswain, engineer, radio operator) yourself by editing their system prompts, or use my default settings. ⚠️ IMPORTANT BEFORE INSTALLATION: A microphone is required for voice commands. The mod requires an external neural network connection. Cloud solutions (Player2, OpenRouter) require an internet connection. Local solutions (Ollama) require a powerful PC. The neural networks are multilingual! You can give orders and communicate in English, German, Russian, and other languages. ⚙️ HOW TO START? The mod allows you to connect neural networks to the game via the Player2 service (recommended), OpenRouter, or local Ollama.
