Precision Hydrophone

I got tired of botching the 4-bearing method — both the stationary and the moving variant. With the vanilla ±several-degree spread, a rounded midpoint, and bearings printed as whole integers, every plot I ran came out wrong by enough to matter. So I made this mod. What it does Precision Hydrophone rewrites the hydrophone contact tooltip (the one that pops up on the right when you hover a contact card) so bearings are reported to a tenth of a degree, and both the true bearing and the relative bearing are shown side by side. The new format looks like this: Category, 220. 5°T / 75. 5°R, close T — true (absolute compass) bearing R — bearing relative to the U-boat's course It covers both visual ship contacts and hydrophone-only screw-noise contacts. Distance hint added On top of the precise bearings, each contact line now carries a rough distance label — far / middle / close / very close — so you can see at a glance whether something's worth worrying about. Compatibility & safety Made for UBOAT 2026. 1 patch 4. Savegame-safe — you can install and uninstall freely. I've put a few hours into testing this on my own runs and it's been stable, but UBOAT's mod surface is huge and I can't try every combination.
