[2022.1] Seafloor Depth Tracker

Outdated Only for use with old game versions Tweaks and expands the seafloor tracking functionality of the "Crash Dive" command. Did you know... If you keep the Crash Dive "button" engaged, the game sets the target depth to a few meters above seafloor level, dynamically adjusting it in real time, allowing you to creep along the seabed to avoid sonar and acoustic detection. This mod... Tweaks and expands the vanilla seafloor tracking functionality of the Crash Dive button: Changes maximum crash dive depth from 150 to 250 m, allowing you to use the seafloor tracker up to extreme depths if you need to - at your own risk, of course! Tweaks the settings so target depth is always set 4-5 meters under the keel, fixing the vanilla settings that often would crash the sub on the seafloor Keep in mind... Actual depth will not instantly follow the target depth set by the Crash Dive button - because physics. You still may crash into the seabed - or rise too high above it - if the seafloor rises or falls fast. Youl'll have to pay attention and adjust your speed accordingly. Having an engineer on the depth steers helps a lot! Crash Dive depth is now set to 250 m. If you want to crash dive to any other depth, simply set it on the dial right after pressing the button All credit to sq_paradox for the coding This guy rocks! Check out his other cool mods!
