Realistic Uniforms

The mod works fine with the current 2022. 1 version of UBOAT (patch 21) (the "outdated" warnings in the game launcher doesn't necessarily mean a mod is incompatible - it just means a setting in the mod's manifest file hasn't been updated to tell the game it's compatible). A new version of the mod with many new features is 85% complete but I have stopped working on it as I'm taking a long break from the game. Changes your crew's uniform jackets, pants and caps to use more realistic and historically accurate colours and textures. The initial version only modifies clothing items that are (or seem to be) official officer and sailor uniforms - it doesn't (yet) make any changes to the personal clothing items such as the various coloured/patterned shirts, sweaters and hats. WHAT DOESN'T THIS MOD DO? It doesn't change any of the actual 3D models for the clothing items, except for small details (such as eagle emblems & button patterns) which are made subtly 3D with bump maps. Several of the 3D models need various modifications to make them more historically accurate as officer and crew uniforms. This is something I may try to do at some point. COMPATIBILITY - This mod does not require you to start a new career. It should work with previous saved games. - This mod replaces vanilla clothing textures, so it isn't compatible with other uniform mods. Using this mod with similar mods shouldn't cause crashes or instability issues, but whichever uniform mod is loaded last (i.e. lowest in your mod list) will take priority regarding which textures you see in-game. TROUBLESHOOTING If you cannot see the Realistic Uniforms clothing textures in your game, exit the game and delete your cache files (C:\Users\ \AppData\LocalLow\Deep Water Studio\UBOAT\Cache) then load your saved game again.
