New campaign starting Wilhelmshaven on May 1940 Your sub is equipped with Snorkel and some research are done at start. Story line May 1, 1940 early in the morning: You discreetly board the U-54 when everyone thinks it was lost at sea from February. But it was a fake made to keep it in secret. In fact, this old VIIB has reborn with improved performances. Hidden at Helgoland, it has been secretly equipped with a new system allowing diesel propulsion while diving. It will be able to receive the other prototypes of equipments described in the top-secret documents you received. We need detailed reports after your patrols to finalyse the VIIC type. Your mission code is "Renaissance" but no one must know ... U-54 does not exist anymore! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_submarine_U-54_(1939) Update 1. 1 1. The new version b128 shows the evolution of the conquered territories but forgets to change the dates of capture of ports and those of possible missions before January 1941. (It seems that nothing is planned before the U96 campaign in the base game ) This update fixes this for: La Rochelle: Capture June 22, 1940, missions from June 25. Bergen: Capture April 9, 1940, missions from June 10. La Spezia: Missions from June 10, 1940. 2. The probability of obtaining a change of home port has been significantly increased (maybe too much, let me know).
