Durangela

This mod will replace Duran with Angela as much as possible - the result is Durangela. This is not a boring model swap.

There are model/animation changes/adjustments to both Angela's models and equipment, and it also blanks out/switches all

audio/text to Angela's where possible including: battle voices/spells/class strikes and sidetalks/event dialogue.

Fully compatible with all languages. Supports both English and Japanese Audio.

First project requiring Blender. It was terrible.

I have created a separate archive containing all models used.

If anyone with decent Blender skills want to add polish, by all means.

Instructions:

Place the following files in your mod folder.

Required (1):

- durangela_1_P.pak

Highly recommended (5):

- durangela_altered_sleeves_1_P.pak

- durangela_altered_sleeves_no_cape_1_P.pak

- durangela_fixed_swords_1_P.pak

- durangela_opening_video_swap_1_main_character_1_P.pak

- durangela_opening_video_swap_2_companion_1_P.pak

Optional (3):

- durangela_altered_sleeves_no_cape_4d_berserker_red_gloves_1_P.pak.option

- durangela_fixed_swords_mana_sword_luminous_1_P.pak.option

- durangela_fixed_swords_class4_mana_dknight_sword_1_P.pak

Note: The fixed_swords could be skipped if you're using the rods or spears PAK file.

The altered_sleeves could be skipped if you're using the invisible shields PAK file.

Main PAK File Details:

Durangela:

durangela_1_P.pak

Converts Duran -> Durangela:

- All changes made to the english audio was mirrored for the japanese audio

- Silent in cutscenes (unvoiced)

- Angela's sidetalks are used when alternate character versions are available

- Sidetalks unique to Duran (no alternate versions) remain Duran's (not voiced)

- All battle voices/talking is Angela

- Spell voices are Angela's (closest spell name is used - ex: Fireball for Fire Saber)

- Class Strikes were reconstructed using Angela's voice clips

- Reconstruction was based on the english voice clips... hopefully it sounds good in japanese as well?

- Models/Animations are swapped to Angela's

- Angela's models adjusted to support shields

- Angela's models altered to support Levnax85's hair color mod

- Duran's animation for putting weapon away while moving is kept

- Angela's animation for putting weapons away while not moving is used because Duran's animation doesn't fit at all

(As a result the sword will get put away upside down, but at least the animation is smooth)

- Duran specific animations, such as Class Strikes, are left as they are, since there is no Angela equivalent

Altered Sleeves:

durangela_altered_sleeves_1_P.pak

Alters all of Durangela's models to adjust the sleeves/hair:

- Prevent clipping issues

- Sleeves removed/cropped/adjusted

- Hair from Angela's Duelist model is used (it floats slightly) to give more room for the shield between back/hair

- Edelfrei's hair adjusted so it doesn't clip the collar
