New waypoints that announce when a train passes by This works like stock horn waypoints but it plays a number of announcements from different countries. Station masters whistle when trains leave Local trains instead receive announcements when opening and closing the doors. Trains without horn receive one. This mod works with vanilla and many modded trains. You can customise it with /res/scripts/lollo_sounds/settings/trainSoundEffectSettings.lua. For example, you can make it say "mind the gap" and "stand clear of the doors", or nothing at all. You can also add your own sounds. Just play around. Tiny fake train depots that make various station announcements You will find them from 1925 in the station depot menu. Pick one and plop it wherever you like. Repeat to taste. You can have different stations make different announcements, and even the same station make a jumble of different announcements in German, Italian, Russian, English, Japanese and French - or just more of the same. You can adjust the volume in the mod settings. Notes 1) Whistles and horns can only come if the train has a sound set with clacks (for diesel and electric trains) or chuffs (for steam trains). This mod adds clacks to certain modded sound sets that haven't got them.
