Vienna Fever: Schnellbahn

This mod is the basic set of the Wiener Schnellbahn. It contains vehicles of the series 4030, 4020 as well as Talent 1 and Cityjet. The set can be extended with some addons. History The history of the Vienna Schnellbahn began in the 1960s. The electric suburban railway has been operated in Vienna and Lower Austria for over 50 years. Four different generations of railcars were and are used. These are represented in this set with the following variants: Included vehicles 4030. 201 (1962 - 1975): Electric commuter train of the ÖBB for operation on the Vienna Schnellbahn; lighter than 4030. 0, as higher acceleration values had to be achieved 4030. 220 (1972 - 1990): Electric local train of the ÖBB for operation on the Vienna Schnellbahn; lighter than 4030. 0, modified headlight arrangement, central buffer coupling 4030. 232 (1978 - 2010): Electric commuter train of the ÖBB for operation on the Wiener Schnellbahn; last delivery series 4020. 08 (1978 - 1993): ÖBB 4020. 08 was built in 1978 by SGP and BBC. Represents the delivery status 1978. Destinations: S2 Wiener Neustadt / S2 Wolkersdorf 4020. 002 (1993 - 2004): ÖBB 4020. 002 was built in 1978 by SGP and BBC. Represents the state of the 90s, already without second pantograph and in the new blue/white colour scheme. Destinations: S7 Wolfsthal / S7 Vienna North 4020. 224 (2003 - 2015): ÖBB 4020. 224 was built in 1979 by SGP and Elin, equipped with an emergency brake override (NBÜ) in 2006 and renamed from 024 to 224. Represents the condition of the 2000s, with the current blue/white paintwork, platter and matrix displays. Destinations: Absdorf-Hippersdorf / Mödling 4020. 296 (2004 - 2015): ÖBB 4020. 296 was built in 1985 by SGP and Elin, equipped with an emergency brake override (NBÜ) in 2004 and renamed from 096 to 296. Represents the condition after the conversion, with the CityShuttle livery and matrix displays. Destinations: S40 Tulln City / S40 Vienna FJBf 4024. 096 (from 2004): E-Talent in classic ÖBB livery 4024. 003 (from 2017)
