GSAM-1A [ Strix ] GPS Precision-guided Air-to-Surface Missile

(View on steam workshop for images) NO GYROS, NO GLITCHES, COORDINATE-GUIDED The Guided Standoff Attack Missile(GSAM)-1A "Strix" is a compact high-speed GPS precision-guided Air-to-Surface Missile capable of firing from distances far exceeding Auto-Aim range. Remotely guided and space-optimized, it is designed to be launched from from aircraft at distances where the target cannot retaliate. The blueprint contains 3 Missiles and 3 Remote Guidance Computers (RGC) INFO: - A missile is guided by the RGC with the same serial number (labeled in black). If you want to use Missile #1 and #2, you should have RGC #1 and #2 as well. (The RGCs can simply be left on the ground in a secure location.) - Each Missile+RGC set occupies 10 player-isolation radio channels (#1: 0-9, #2: 10-19, #3: 20-29). - The target coordinates are received by the red(Longitude), blue(Latitude), and green(Altitude) radio receivers. By default, the channels are set to Team channels 0, 1 and 2, for easy integration with the AMTD-01 and AMTD-02 targeting pods. - To activate a missile's engines, activate the accumulator marked with a yellow dot on the underside of the missile. To activate guidance, broadcast a signal on the corresponding RGC's 10th channel (#1=channel 9, #2=channel 19, etc.) STRATEGY: - As a standoff weapon, the Strix is designed to be fired from outside the range of your target. As such, it may be inconsistent at close ranges, especially at sharp angles. -The Strix has a tendency to drop quite low when launched (as opposed to approaching its target in a ballistic arc). This may cause it to hit tall obstacles. Be wary of obstacles in the path to the target and launch from high altitudes to maximize your chances. -Despite its high speed and precision, the Strix may not be enough to eliminate a target with keen senses and powerful anti-air capabilities.
