To finally give this system a use and to support the helicopters, the Stino Corporation tasked the systems team to develop an artillery system named the "Hydra". It had to be capable of receiving targets from a spotter drone and then hit them accurately. The systems team started by taking the ballistics computer from the livyatan and added a system to correct for the long barrel of the artillery and they also developed the MQ-12 Apollo to be its spotter drone. After flawless live firing tests the Hydra was accepted into production.
