Bellybutton Suit

Fave fun gambling with your life! :D LORE: To operate their mechanized battle armors, the MEMENTO Club required their aspiring wearers to spend an "adaptation period" in a simpler training suit. They were made to be inside a "Bellybutton" for weeks and live their daily routines as normal while learning to deal with a ridiculously clumsy body. Once moving became natural, the wearer was allowed to exit the suit and choose a new model to pilot. But this period was more than just body coordination training; it was also a way to steel the nerves of the wearers and everyone around them. The suit's belly reactor (which gave it its name) was highly unstable and prone to spontaneously exploding. It was not an intentional trait, though: the MEMENTO Club used to build their tech using recovered scraps from the ruins of Metalburg, and good resources were hard to come by. As a result, the lesser machines were made with more untrustworthy materials. The unluckiest wearers fell victim to the odds, and some of the luckier ones were left psychologically scarred, but the constant fear of random detonation surely accelerated the training and produced able fighters quickly, which wasn't seen as a problem during the heated times of the Chirpo-Pirate war.
