The first combat aircraft entirely designed and produced by the young Olympus Military Complex’s Aerospace Department. Conceived in the turbulent years immediately following independence, it was created to deliver affordable, persistent close air support for counter-insurgency operations and low to mid-intensity conflicts across the young archipelago nation’s vast, scattered islands and contested littorals. Drawing heavy inspiration from recovered pre-war light attack concepts from discovered archives, most notably the highly agile “Cricket” platform, the Diadem fully embraces the same ruthless pragmatism that defined the Antares at sea and Ceres programs in preparation. This low-subsonic jet deliberately sacrifices armor and sophisticated survivability systems in favor of simplicity, ruggedness, and exceptional short takeoff and landing capability. Able to operate from unprepared dirt strips, remote atoll outposts, and the expansive flight deck of the future nation’s carriers in preparation, it brings reliable air power precisely where the young nation needs it most in a resource-scarce world. The naval variant, optimized for maritime and littoral missions alongside the Antares and Ceres fleet, features a reinforced airframe and strengthened landing gear.
