📋 About This Mod
- WASD: Pitch/yaw - Spacebar: Thrust (hold) - T: Toggle idle thrust - G: Toggle landing gear - LClick: Fire guns/flak cannons - RClick: Drop depth charges LORE: In the Viridian War, most of the Metalburguese air-to-surface roles were executed by Mb-07 Minstrel fighters, as they had decent dive bombing capabilities. They were especially effective against armored vehicles and ships, but not so much against submarines, as their ordnance couldn't penetrate the water's surface. To counter the submarine threat, the Metalburguese Navy loaded their Mb-08 Druid bombers with depth charges and sent them to Viridis. However, they also used the opportunity to pack more functions onto the large platform to reduce operational costs. They added nose guns and a tail flak turret so the plane could also provide close air support, and a suspicious "mushroom" on top of its fuselage. The object was a prototypical radar dish they used to detect enemy aircraft, which helped coordinate their supporting Minstrel squadrons via radio. It was "disguised" as a mushroom so the Viridians wouldn't suspect anything. Needless to say, the red mushroom skin only made them stand out more, and it quickly caused the Druids to become priority targets. But the Metalburguese never quit painting their radar dishes like that because it was funny and matched the "Druid" moniker. - Brought to you by the Metalburg Bureau.
