Mechalpaca

One of them was using "modified alpacas." The animals were given "special secret juices" that made their saliva extra corrosive, so they could melt stone with spit to get to the precious ores. It was a very dumb idea, but they were lucky enough to see it working (as was the case with nearly all of the Metalburg Bureau's subsequent endeavors). In order to preserve that long-standing custom, the MEMENTO Club constructed mechanized mining alpacas, which were used by the Vertex 2 expedition to dig up the remains within the triangle crater. Mech-Chirpogriff riders would frequently accompany the Mechalpaca riders, protecting them from the real Chirpogriffs. However, sometimes those beasts showed up mounted by angry Chorpos, and they had rusty bazookas and pipe guns. The MEMENTO Boss didn't want to attack those natives, but their constant harassment made their mission increasingly difficult. Besides, conversations didn't lead to anything. The Chorpos wanted the Eye at all costs and couldn't accept that the Club didn't have it with them. A needless confrontation with those poor post-apocalyptic people was about to take place. Then the Mechapacas dug up something interesting. A couple of days of excavation revealed a large round structure, mostly intact despite the relentless deterioration of time. It had large Old Chirpish runes on its side. The runes read: "Gallina Zero." - Brought to you by the MEMENTO Club.
