Their oddities can be traced back to Reimar Dunne, who built the Mb-00 (the first Metalburguese flying "triangle") because of a dream. His descendants kept dreaming of triangles until Judas Dunne, the suspicious captain of the Diplocaulus, was tasked with finding a sunken Giant. And now, centuries later, MEMENTO has found the wreck of his vessel, with strange encrypted data in its computer. It showed three astronomical coordinates—a triangle around the center of the Galaxy—which is an odd thing to extract out of a submarine. Out of a hunch, they asked the Bureau to build a spaceborne replica of the Diplocaulus, but they were in a war mindset at that time and read the scans upside down, so they accidentally made an inverted version of it and made it a bomber.
