FA-82 Super Hawk

The FA-82 Super Hawk is a 9th Generation Multirole VTOL Fighter Aircraft for the United States Airforce and Spaceforce. First seeing use in the 2nd Pacific World War in 2073, the Super Hawk was the first fighter aircraft fully capable of out-of-atmosphere combat and interplanetary navigation. The Super Hawk served primarily as an interceptor, and was frequently deployed for aerial, near-space, and outerspace combat operations, reconnaissance, and identifying and neutralizing militarized enemy satellites and other spacecraft. The Super Hawk is powered by a blended turbofan jet repulsor engine, which allows the craft to seamlessly traverse in and out of atmosphere. The Super Hawk is capable of VTOL, allowing it to be deployed from smaller landing zones - typically used for helicopters. Due to its stable VTOL capabilities, the Super Hawk was often used as an air support craft, hovering over combat areas and providing direct aerial surveillance and fires operations to support friendly ground forces.
