Aerostride - Redneck-Engineered Octocopter #SELFDESTRUCT2023

Born from the heart of a redneck-engineer's audacious dreams, the Aerostride emerged as an unconventional marvel of flight. Armed with little more than a tinkerer's spirit, a toolbox of mismatched parts, and a dream, our intrepid creator set out from the comfort of their rural homestead. Welding salvaged scrap metal into a rickety framework, they cobbled together their dreams and aspirations. It wasn't about sleek lines or pristine materials; but rather ingenuity, determination, and the yearning for a revolution in transportation. It's propulsion system was far from sophisticated—each jerry-rigged component carried the traces of countless trials and errors. The motor chugged with a raw, guttural tone as it propelled the craft into the skies; the hum; an ever-evolving symphony, a cacophony, of clanging metal, whirring gears, creaking joints. With a makeshift armoured seat and spray paint paid for by scrimping every penny, our hero piloted their creation with unwavering pride. With redundancy woven into every joint, a cautious approach born from a deep-seated distrust of their creation's stability, however, the question always remained: was it ever truly enough?
