Decently stable VTOL It also glides pretty well :) hold SPACE to fly W/S for pitch A/D for roll Arrow keys to alter blade position (extra pitch) LeftShift to fire cannons LeftControl to fire missiles LeftAlt to drop bombs Z for landing gear X for boost toggle Before gyro-engines became common technology, spinning blade-like structures were used to create lift, simmilar to the gyros we now see used on all conventional vehicles.
