Chaos Winter Corruption

With the long awaited announcement of Warhammer Totalwar 3 and the immense hype surrounding it (Seriously, KISLEV !!) I could think of no better time to release a mod that I have had in the works for some time now! Greetings fellow Warhammer and Totalwar fans alike! Have you ever played a campaign as Norsca and wondered why in the seven hells you spread grey cardboard cement all over the map, when you are the literal ice vikings of the warhammer universe? Have you ever played as a Warriors of Chaos campaign and gotten sick and tired of how the world looks as though it has has been pooped on by a thousand angry beastmen? Have you ever played as the Dark Elves and wondered why on earth Morathi and her Cult of Pleasure would ever bother worshipping Slaanesh if he turns their lands into grey porridge with chilli peppers sprinkled here and there? If you answered yes to any of the above, then allow me to present an alternative! This mod is a complete overhaul of the appearance of Chaos Corruption. As a settlement becomes corrupted, it slowely spreads an icy tundra across the land. This radiating cold warps all foliage and trees in the area, converting them to those native to norsca. Trees turn into boreal pines, grass turns into frosty tuffs and various rocks and ice spikes begin to dot the landscape. I opted to retain the lava cracks and demonic spikes that appear at high corruption levels as it reminded me of geothermic activity found in areas such as Greenland and Siberia in real life! Important notes Corruption graphics may look blocky when initially spreading from the settlement (This is typically around the 5-15% corruption mark). This is unfortunately a limitation of the vanilla game engine, and can not be helped. This mod changes texture files, environmental model files and a few campaign model db files.
