📋 About This Mod

What is MultiHousing? In base Terraria, many houses can meet the requirements to be valid (such as a table with two chairs), but despite having 2 chairs, the game only assigns a single NPC to that room. The goal of this mod is to break that limit and allow NPCs in the different possible origin points, with the purpose of creating better structures without wall or space limitations. Main Features Internal functioning The mod is responsible for identifying the different origin points where it is possible to assign an NPC; for example, everything that is considered a chair. Currently, the mod allows assigning NPCs regardless of whether it is a house or not through commands or the UI. As the mod breaks base Terraria validations, it still needs testing to support limits. Compatibility In terms of compatibility, the mod is in an experimental phase, so there may be bugs with other mods. To understand it well, it does the following: Detects and assigns all NPCs and pets that are made with the basic system of the game (meaning almost all NPCs from other mods). For the moment, the mod skips restrictions only if NPCs are assigned with the mod's UI; assignments through the game's vanilla UI may not work due to limits. The NPC AI was not changed, other than the world check and housing checks. User Interface (UI) Through a key that you can assign (by default it is on "H"), you can activate the visualization of origin points. By clicking on them, you can open the assignment interface shown in the preview images. What the UI does is the following: Origin point information: Shows the assigned NPCs and options to remove or assign. Origin point lock: If you want a chair to not be assigned any NPC automatically, you can lock the chair. Assignment HUD: The assignment HUD shows you the NPCs that you can assign. Things to keep in mind: MultiHousing includes advanced changes to Terraria's housing system and global housing checks, compatibility problems may occur with mods that significantl
