Industrial Pickaxes adds tools with a special ability, the ability to smelt bars from ores! Ores mined by industrial pickaxes are smelted at a 1:1 ratio, so you can spend less time mining and more time crafting! Industrial Pickaxes are however more expensive to craft than their standard counterpart and swing somewhat slower, but they're worthwhile! Also compatible with pretty much any vein miner/ore excavator mod, how convenient! It even has mod support!
