Featuring a main canyon with only a few sources of fresh water readily available, however the water stems from deeper down and with the right manipulation you can move water to much of the map fairly easily, just be warned that the bad water flows similarly and the same action that could open up new water could also spell disaster. There are also plenty of aquifers, geothermal vents and a decent amount of research debris to reward branching out and finding ways to control the bad water.
