Pothole Valley

Size: 256 x 256 A large map with lots of flat land for farming. Hydrating that land requires exploration and a bit of creativity. Underground ruins are flooded and can be made accessible by redirecting water across most of the map (or determination lol). Expansion is difficult due to limited natural green area. Good for dam building? There is a legend among beavers, that all waterways will continue to merge and grow until they unite at one location, the Land of a Thousand Rivers. Desperate to escape their dwindling water supply, a colony decided to chase this legend downstream and end the struggle once and for all. This is what they found, a valley so dry that not a single tree has dared root in its depths. Despite this, the fabled rivers can still be heard down the countless pits for which this place is named. Can you coax the hidden water to flow through the valley's ancient riverbeds, restoring it to a land of legend, or will you succumb to thirst like so many of your relatives? Have fun!
