Mental Asylum (TSP)

TURTLESHROOM PRODUCTIONS PROUDLY PRESENTS: MENTAL ASYLUM MAKE ASYLUMS GREAT AGAIN!! In one of my games, I lost control of my character and spiralled into a constant death risk because I got four, yes FOUR, Mental Breaks at once. My character, who was ADDICTED to working, refused unless I put a gun to his head and manually sent him to his job. Everyone knows that therapy rarely works for a dude, and indeed, the Mental Therapy option can only be taken once monthly, and almost always fails to cure my character. I had an idea, then: what if there WAS a way to cure it, guaranteed? Well, I would personally want that to be balanced, with a trade-off for such a powerful boon. That's when the idea struck me. What if the society your character lived in had a real mental health system instead of the excuse we have now in RL? One where mental health was actually considered serious enough to remove all the psychopathic men in dresses and kids that hung school shooters on their wall before they violate someone? What if, instead of prison once they commit a crime, we had a real commitment (literally, in both forms) to actually treating madmen? What if this could be forced? Unfortunately, that last part is beyond my ability. However, I CAN develop a means to cure Mental Breaks. That's what this Mod does. For the extreme cost of two hundred Hours, your character is GUARANTEED to lose the Mental Break Status. These two hundred Hours are CONSECUTIVE, do not replinish Fun, and only precent Hunger and Sleep from going down. You cannot die in an asylum, but you will be bored to death. It also costs money, of course. Hopefully, this Mod will allow players to cure the one thing that's functionally impossible to remove once it cascades without feeling like a cheat code. Enjoy the Mod! Jesus loves you and died for you! (C)2007-2026 AD TurtleShroom Productions (Ha ha, just kidding, I can't copyright a line of XML.)
