Datacentres

Datacentres Mod Build your digital empire, one server rack at a time. Dive into the world of high-tech infrastructure with the Datacentres mod for This Grand Life 2. This mod introduces a new layer to the tech industry, allowing players to build and manage cloud hosting businesses that leverage powerful data warehouses filled with GPUs and staffed by network engineers. This mod is designed for players who enjoy capital-intensive ventures with high ongoing costs but rewarding passive income streams, simulating the real-world demands of modern computing. Key Features New Cloud Hosting Business: Start a Cloud Host Provider company that offers passive cloud services. It's extremely capital-intensive (heavy investment in GPUs and datacentre properties) and power-hungry (high electricity bills for always-on hardware), but generates reliable profits through subscription-based hosting once established. Two New Jobs: Staff your datacentres with specialized professionals. Network Engineer (Entry-Level): Handles basic networking tasks, requiring programming knowledge. Network Architect (Senior): Oversees infrastructure, generating more engineers and higher income, with requirements in IT management and experience. New Property Type - Data Warehouse: House your operations in three sizes of specialized datacentre properties (Tiny, Medium, and Large). These warehouses are optimized for tech, with scaling capacity for jobs and assets. Custom Assets and Mechanics: Includes GPU racks (Basic and Advanced) as key assets, with passive power consumption to reflect real datacentre operations. Businesses require significant upfront capital but offer steady, scalable profits without constant micromanagement.
