The Sims 3 - Mod Organizer 2 Game Support Plugin

Description:

I've being playing The Sims 3 off and on since release and think the biggest problem is organization when it come to modding it . I was using g0kur - "Sims 3 Mod Organizer" before but I wanted some of the modern features from Mod Organizer 2. So i tried to use Mod Organizer 2 for The Sims 3, but I realized that it works completely different from Skyrim or any game. So I tried to recreate g0kur - "Sims 3 Mod Organizer " into Mod Organizer 2. Am just making this for anyone who is already using Mod Organizer 2 for other games or wants to try it out.

How it works:

I pulled the path for "%DOCUMENTS%/Electronic Arts/ The Sims 3" as the "Data" tab

You can drag and drop your .zip mods in the Downloads tab or right click in the Mod Order and install that way. You don't have to worry about adding things to your Resource.cfg and can keep it default because MO2's VFS / Priority System will handle mod's and packages priority instead of Resource.cfg

How mod path's works:

Most Mods will follow this path unless otherwise

If you get this popup you must fix it. So it goes to the right path.

How to open The Sims 3 Package Conflict Plugin:

You want to click on the Mod Organizer 2 Toolbar and find "Package Conflicts" or set a hotkey

What does the Conflicts & Flags mean:

I included multiple " Conflicts & Flags " that will explain to the user the conflicts or flags that are happening to the mod's packages and package resources:

• []Lighting Bolt (+) : This package resources overwrites another package resources - it wins

  []Lighting Bolt ( - ) : This package resources is overwritten by another package resources - it loses

  []Lighting Bolt ( + - ) : This package resources wins against some copies of another package resources and loses against others - it's mixed
