The Outlast Trials VHS Reshade is a visual overhaul inspired by Kane Pixels series "The Backrooms" and the previous Outlast Titles (1,2).
The Outlast Trials VHS Reshade is heavily inspired by Kane Pixels series "The Backrooms." The choice of camera overlay is for atmospheric purposes that calls reference to the previous games per Outlast 1 & 2. The VHS Reshade also aims for color balance without color oversaturation making the in-game environment more bleak and grim. The Reshade is subjective and will not suit everyone.
1. When installing the Reshade select the TOTClient-Win64-Shipping.exe located in J:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Outlast Trials\OPP\Binaries\Win64, and wait until the Reshade finishes downloading the necessary prerequisite files.
2. Once the Reshade is installed, please drag and drop the VHS preset in the Outlast Trials main file directory: J:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Outlast Trials\OPP\Binaries\Win64
