Green Neutralizer

DESCRIPTION

Green Neutralizer removes the ugly green/yellow tint without touching any other colors to preserve the original art style and stay lore friendly. This means I did not try to fight the green/yellow colors by layering an oversaturated blue tint across the entire image on screen. Instead this just neutralizes green and yellow colors without affecting other colors all in one single Reshade effect to avoid bloating you with a ton of effects which would lead to performance loss. This simply just removes green/yellow tint, that is all.

As you can see here, other colors are unaffected to provide the most compatibility for every scenario.

INSTALLATION

• []Download and extract Green Neutralizer

  1a. Place the Arkansas folder in main game directory: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\TheOuterWorlds2

  []Download and install Reshade for The Outer Worlds 2

  2a. Choose The Outer Worlds 2 executable. Steam: TheOuterWorlds2-Win64-Shipping.exe | Gamepass: gamelauncherhelper.exe

  2b. Choose Direct3D 10/11/12

  2c. When selecting effects to install choose "Browse" and open "BJ's Green Neutralizer.ini" located in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\TheOuterWorlds2\Arkansas\Binaries\Win64.

  (This way it will only install the necessary files for Green Neutralizer)

  []Launch The Outer Worlds 2 and let Reshade's shaders compile then press "HOME" key to open the GUI.

  3a. Choose "Continue" or "Skip Tutorial"

  3b. Choose the little "+" icon in the upper right corner and pick "BJ's Green Neutralizer.ini"

  []Green Neutralizer is now enabled and ready to play
