Creepy HDR Enhanced - ReShade Preset

This preset is no longer being supported.

I have zero interest in continuing to play the game.

It may or may not be worth using.

I'm leaving it posted because it's one of the few proper HDR presets available.

The only shader this preset makes use of is pColors from PotatoFury, which is available in the ReShade installer or directly from their GitHub 

Install instructions

  []Install ReShade from ReShade.me

  []During ReShade installation, pick pColors from PotatoFX or just pick the Creepy_HDR_Enhanced preset file at the very bottom of the page, which will automatically pick the pColors for you.

  []DO NOT PICK ANY ADDONS

  []Finish ReShade installation, start the game, and enjoy :)

OPTIONAL PRESET:

Cranked to 11 (HDR Only) - Started off as a meme preset.  But as I was messing with it I actually started to like it for certain situations, such as taking screenshots.

- Look in the comments section for a stickied post showing before/after screenshots.

- Doesn't work with SDR but works with native HDR or RenoDX.  Works with Ultra+

- Based off of the Enhanced V2 preset and as such provides the same color grading benefits as that preset.

- Meant to be tweaked for specific situations, but the shaders added are easy to adjust so these are good ones to learn.

- Adds the following shaders:

• []HDR Saturation - SDR/HDR compatible shader that increases the saturation (more colorful, bring on the rainbows!)  There's also a desaturation mode if you want to play in black & white.

  []HDR Brightness Adjustment - (HDR only) Increases the brightness of the brightest parts of the image while also providing some additional contrast. This shader is the reason why this preset won't work with SDR.  The shader itself will show an error if the game is in SDR, so if it doesn't work that would be why.  If you're going to use this preset with gameplay, I highly recommend turning this shader off or changing the HLG gain from 10 to about 1. 5-3.  It's really nice for adding more depth to a scene and for really making those highlights pop.  Use at night or dark interiors to see the most benefit.

  []HDR RCAS - SDR/HDR compatible sharpening shader.  Literally the best sharpening shader you can use, (the same shader is built into the Borderlands 4 RenoDX mod).  I have this cranked up a lot as well, so feel free to tone it down a bit from 1 to about . 5 or change the sharpening mode to one of the less aggressive options.

RenoDX - Game specific mod now exists, no longer need to use Unreal Engine version.

Other Info:

- Technically works with SDR as well but you'll need to change the Paper White Nits setting in pColors from 203 to 80; however, I did not test the preset with SDR.

- If you're planning on using this mod with other ReShade shaders, such as RTGI, be aware that most shaders do not work properly with HDR.  You can use Soop's / Smolbbsoop's HDR Converter shaders as a workaround.  Instructions on how to use this can be found on my guide site: HDRMods.com.  List of HDR compatible shaders can be found in the HDR Link Library section of my site.
