Supernova All-in-One Patch — Spacer’s Choice Edition

Updated all-in-one version of the Supernova Patch for The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition.

Updated August 26, 2026: The game received a new update today, and this mod has been updated and tested for the current version.

The recent game update broke Save Anywhere while other features such as Fast Travel Anywhere continued to work. This version restores Save Anywhere and packages everything into a simple standalone install.

Installation

winhttp.dll

overrides.iniinto:

The Outer Worlds Spacer's Choice\Indiana\Binaries\Win64\Replace the existing files if prompted.

Launch the game normally.

Configuration

overrides.inito enable or disable features:

bSaveAnywhere=true

bFastTravelAnywhere=true

bDisableCompanionDeath=true

iDifficulty=-3iDifficulty=-3leaves your selected difficulty unchanged.

Future game updates may require another compatibility update.

Windows 11 / Smart App Control

Some Windows 11 users may see a Windows Security warning involving:

winhttp.dllThis can happen because the mod uses an unsigned DLL, which Windows may treat as unknown software.

If the game does not load the mod, check:

Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control

Smart App Control may block unsigned DLLs and does not always provide a simple per-file exception.

Disabling Smart App Control reduces a Windows security protection, so only change that setting if you understand the tradeoff.
