📋 About This Mod
Vanilla friendly ReShade that'll remove oversaturation with red color that's present in Spacer's Choice edition while not oversharpen the image or add too much from harmful blue spectrum to the image.

What does this do?
- decreases red/orange filter to a degree that's no longer unpleasant (extended testing and 3 decimal color values done)
- preserves colors (don't be afraid it'll look 'pale')
- it does NOT over-use blue spectrum and sharpen as most presets do (too much sharpening and blue color spectrum will strain your eyes and make it harder for you to fall asleep)
- in order to compensate for visual presentation, VERY subtle bloom effect is added
UPDATE: October 2025 >> since ReShade renders on top of the game and adds FPS impact, I've created an alternative version (see Light under files) without glow/bloom, only fixed the color balance so it doesn't burn your eyes with RED. You should also get less performance impact on lower and mid tier GPU-s.
INSTALL:
1) download and unpack the file (doesn't matter where, but remember the location ex. Desktop)
2) run your game at least once - in Options DISABLE motion blur AND Show Chromatic Aberration and keep other settings as desired (tested with ULTRA and FSR 2. 0 set to Quality)
3) download latest ReShade (tested with 5. 9. 2) and run the setup
4) select a game or application - find game's exe via 'Browse' if it's not present (install folder - 'TheOuterWorldsSpacersChoiceEdition.exe') and click Next
5) select DirectX 10/11/12 and click Next
6) on 'Select preset to install:' we'll go Browse and now look for where .ini file from step 1 is extracted - select ReShadePreset.ini that we extracted and click Open. Now click on Next
7) on 'Select effect packages to install:' leave everything as is and click Next (should be Standard effects, SweetFX, Color effects and Legacy effects)
8) wait for setup to do its thing and click on Finish - that's it
8. 1) start the game as per usual and open the Reshade menu with 'Home' button; don't forget to go to Settings while in Reshade overlay and set a button to toggle effect (otherwise you won't be able to enable/disable ingame)
