Hidden Backpack and Weapons

Description

The purpose of this mod is to give both playable characters a clean, backpack-free appearance during gameplay. It covers the different backpacks used by Ellie and Abby, including alternate skins and character-specific equipment setups. The backpack remains fully accessible and functional; it is simply made invisible. Holsters and flashlights remain visible as normal. Ellie’s weapons and arrows, and Abby’s weapons and crossbow, are hidden from their backs but remain available and become visible again when held.

Installation instructions

1. Open the game’s `mods` folder.

2. Copy the Abby and / or Ellie PSARC files included in the release package into that `mods` folder. 

Main features

- Removes Abby's and Ellie’s backpack and separate backpack straps.

- Keeps both characters’ normal clothing, holsters, weapons, arrows, and crossbow gameplay behavior intact.

- Makes stored equipment invisible when it is carried on the backpack, while allowing actively held equipment to appear normally.

- Should works independently of other cosmetic or outfit mods.

Requirements

- The Last of Us Part II Remastered version 1. 6 for PC.
