F16C check bypass (for older processors)

This is a diff patch which removes the F16c check / error message when trying to start the game on an older CPU, I am 99. 7% certain the game doesn't actually use any F16c instructions, I have completed the game using an old intel sandybridge CPU, but that doesn't mean it won't crash later at some point in the game (unlikely).

This patch requires some basic knowledge, I am unable to provide support, busy ...etc, this is a diff patch, so any patching is done on YOUR PC, BY YOU, I don't provide modified game files, also I wouldn't use the patched binary for online stuff, or risk being banned.

Currently, this only works with The Last of Us II  version - 1. 6 (1. 6. 10721. 105), other solutions are available for previous game versions, I may or may not provide updates for future versions.

Extract the archive to the game folder,

1. Make a backup of tlou-ii-l.exe (the patch will also make a backup but best to be safer than sorry).

2. run F16C_bypass_check. EXE, give permissions, it will auto patch on launch, after patching succeeds you can delete F16C_bypass_check if you want).

3. Done!, now run "tlou-ii-l.exe" (must be the EXE with the -l, as this is the non avx2 binary).

4. if you need the EXE to be named launcher.exe then just copy tlou-ii-l.exe to launcher.exe

This patch is provided AS-IS, use at own risk.

BTW, When using a 4GB video card, I found a couple of cutscenes can exhaust 16gb of system memory which will cause the game to crash, these crashes are not from F16c/AVX2, it's due to running out of ram (due to the system allocating additional shared vram from the system memory) ontop of an already ram hungry game, so a few solutions to this is to close all unnecessary programs or services, temporarily switch to a lower resolution, this shouldn't be a problem on videocards with more vram (6GB+).
