Cute Desktop Wallpapers

Description

Jodi's desktop wallpaper... it's giving.. "default". I made her a cuter one with Canva. (If you want to learn how to replace her desktop wallpaper with your own image, check out the "DIY" section.)

Installation instructions

1. Head to the downloads section and download the file of your choice.

2. Unzip the .pak file and place it in your  ~mods folder. (If you don't know what this is just look up a basic UE modding tutorial.)

Main features

Replaces Jodi's low-res desktop wallpaper with a high-res juicy peach. I also removed the clock on the desktop because it was getting in the way of viewing the peach in all it's glory.

DIY 

You need FModel, UAssetGUI, UE4 DDS Tools, and Unrealpak. You use FModel to export the two uassets for her desktop wallpaper, UAssetGUI to adjust a couple parameters on a separate uasset for the widget that controls her desktop, UE4 DDS Tools to inject your own texture into the wallpaper uassets, and Unrealpak to pack it all up into a .pak. 

The .uassets you are looking for in FModel:

1. TheKillingAntidote\Content\Project\UserInterface\Assets\wallpaper.uasset = The wallpaper when sitting at the computer

2. TheKillingAntidote\Content\Project\UserInterface\Assets\wallpaper_e.uasset = The wallpaper when not sitting at the computer

3. TheKillingAntidote\Content\Project\UserInterface\Assets\Computer_Jodi.uasset = The widget that defines the resolution of the wallpaper
