How to Install

1. Download the Modded File. First, ensure that you have the modded file saved on your computer. Usually, it can be found in your Downloads folder.

2. Open the File. Navigate to your Downloads folder and locate the modded file. Open it to find the population file.

3. Open File Explorer. Open a new File Explorer window by pressing `Windows + E` on your keyboard.

4. Navigate to Documents. In the File Explorer window, go to the "Documents" folder.

5.  Find Avalanche Studios Folder. Look for the folder named Avalanche Studios, and open it.

6. Locate Your Game Save Folder. Inside the Avalanche Studios folder, you’ll see a folder with a series of numbers (your game save folder). Click to open it.

7. Replace the Old Population File. Drag the new modded population file from your Downloads folder into this folder. If prompted to replace the existing file, confirm by selecting "Yes."

8. Launch the Game. Now that you’ve replaced the old population file with the new one, go ahead and run your game.

9. Enjoy Your Game. You're all set! Enjoy hunting like a pro!

If you receive a corrupted file message, you can either press "Continue" or just close your game. You’re likely not going to lose anything, as the same thing happened to me, and I followed these steps without any issues. Additionally, your launcher may have a cloud that saves stuff. a cause could be form a crash.
