Rendering distance DOES MATTER !! more than you think....( Specially how fast you spot an animal which is what matters )
BACKGROUND:
Traditional mods " recommend" for you to put your spawning distance to 750 meters and your despawn distance to also to 750 meters for both animals and birds. What this means is that you will be able to spot animals all the way up to 750 meters and beyond 750 meters you wont see them.
For practical purposes, for me, these distances dont mean anything when I have no interest seeing an animal up to 750meters away, even less shooting birds at that long of a distance ( when most likely i am going to miss the shot unless I deleted the bullet drop using another mod and even at that you might no get a quick one shot kill ), and also using 750meters both for animals and birds, its a possible "computer crash" waiting to happen.
For animals:
The Spawn was droped to 350meters
The Despawn was dropped to 350 meters
For birds:
The Spawn was dropped to: 75 meters
The Despawn was dropped to : 75 meters
These setting will allow you to " visually" see the animals MUCH FASTER anywhere from 0 to 350 Meters
