[]Built-in presets or custom values [/]
GREAT ONE GENERATION & MAP DELIVERY
The generated Great One is not forced into the running game immediately. CHC waits until theHunter: Call of the Wild is completely closed, then safely adds all accumulated Pending Great Ones to the saved animal population of the current reserve.
Qualifying Kills → Goal Reached → Great One Generated → Pending → Game Closed → Great One Added to Reserve Population
After the operation is complete:
-
[]Pending returns to 0 [/]
[]CHC displays a green save confirmation [/]
[]The generated Great One is present in the reserve population on the next game launch [/]
LIVE HUNT OVERLAY
The optional overlay allows you to monitor your hunt without constantly using Alt+Tab.
It can show:
-
[]Current reserve [/]
[]Species [/]
[]Session kills [/]
[]GO Progress [/]
[]Pending queue [/]
[]Active Great Ones [/]
-
[]Compact Mode — smaller and focused [/]
[]Expanded Mode — full reserve species list [/]
Default hotkey: F10
For the best experience, use Borderless Windowed mode.
KILL SOUND ALERTS
CHC can play a sound when a tracked animal death is confirmed. This is useful when an animal runs into vegetation, disappears behind terrain, or is lost from view after a shot.
Normal kills and Great One events use separate alerts with independent volume controls and built-in Test buttons.
SESSION & TOTAL KILLS
-
[]Session Kills — animals killed during the current hunting session [/]
[]Total Kills — accumulated kills tracked for the reserve [/]
ACTIVE GREAT ONE MONITORING
CHC reads the saved population and displays Great Ones currently detected on the selected reserve.
-
[]Gray Wolf ×7 [/]
[]Moose ×51 [/]
[]Red Fox ×1 [/]
PENDING QUEUE
Pending shows Great Ones that have already been earned but are waiting to be added to the saved population.
If Pending > 0, do not close CHC before closing the game.
Correct order:
-
[]Close theHunter: Call of the Wild [/]
[]Keep CHC running [/]
[]Wait for the green save confirmation [/]
[]Confirm Pending = 0 [/]
[]Close CHC [/]
The Activity section records important controller events, including:
-
[]Reserve detection [/]
[]Confirmed kills [/]
[]GO progression [/]
[]Pending grants [/]
[]Save operations [/]
[]Warnings [/]
[]Diagnostic information [/]
