Ace Combat Style HUD

2026/08/18: Fixed HUD layout issues on non-4K displays. 2026/08/18： 已修復非 4K 螢幕的排版問題。 Overview This mod is inspired by the Ace Combat series HUD: It hides the vanilla bottom-row instruments (speedo, altimeter, control bindings strip, power gauge, fuel gauge, money counter) and presents only part of that cluster in an Ace Combat–inspired HUD. On-screen labels for other tech match the same style. The main scenario in mind is multiplayer Creative (other session types still work), so there is no Ace-style replacement for the money counter or the control bindings strip; in Mod only mode they are hidden together with the other suppressed vanilla bottom-row elements— use Alt + H to switch to Vanilla only or Both when you need them. This mod is still experimental and not considered stable. Please read Known issues before subscribing or joining multiplayer rooms. Notes This mod does not ship custom HUD widgets for the money counter or control bindings— by design, with multiplayer Creative as the main focus (other session types still work). To check your cash, remap keys, or read the vanilla control hints, switch HUD mode with Alt + H (see table below). Required / Pre-requisite Mod: It is recommended to subscribe to Chat Font Fix CJK to ensure tech labels and UI text display correctly in Traditional/Simplified Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. Without it, the mod should theoretically still work, but CJK characters may appear as empty boxes if they are identified as missing characters. Known issues Performance: The HUD adds a roughly fixed per-frame cost. When the vanilla game is already running at very high FPS, turning the mod on can show up as a larger FPS delta; under heavy scene load where baseline FPS is lower, the same cost shows up as a smaller FPS delta.
