Stratoknife

Introducing the Stratoknife - a heavy cruiser designed for optimal re-entry, and absolutely decimating any foreign objects that threaten its paths of travel, in an age where space junk seems abundant. This large craft features a few new circuits projects, including automatic navigational lights, altitude-based thermal venting for its main power bank, and independently controlled shields and repair generators, so you can pick and choose when to reserve your voltage. It also comes equipped with a new control scheme unique to the Stratoknife, based on the controls of an airplane, mixed in with the strafing and height variations of anti-grav techs. This machine too uses anti-gravity, but it has an array of on-board generators, so just make sure it gets anchored every now and again in the daylight. When anchoring the machine, it will adjust itself to an optimal hovering height, keeping off the ground and out of harm's way, but not letting itself get too far away to do anything. It has no stabilization computers, but does use a unique system discovered for use in KN's "LightLiner" that makes it extremely responsive in the air. Only this variation uses Geocorp hover pads, rather than GSO's, for that extra bit of power on such a heavy machine. It's equipped with two 3-barrel ship cannons, 4 heavy cannons on its wings, two heavy lasers, and eight guided rockets. That way, anything that gets in your path won't stay there for long! ... Or you can just go absolutely annihilate someone's surface-bound harvesters. Your choice? (Check control scheme upon unboxing of this machine. It's tricky at first to get used to the rather floaty handling, but once you get the hang of it, it's one of the fastest turning ships available.)
