So, as you probably noticed, AI's air defence in the game is... Well, it's weak, to say the least. The only exception is those AA-guns in first Hawkeye mission with bombs. But I'd say it's just because of difficulty of hitting the bombs accurately itself and not the because of actual flak. So, as soon as I got my hands on planes and later - on Hawkeye's rockets that's practically a one-shot death sentence for most of land enemies, I began milking this direction. The result - is this hulking flying fortress, capable of achieving colossal heights and raining rockets down and/or forward, to demolish any enemies you'll come across. With this thing you'll be able to: > Safely explore the area around, without unnecessary figths (You can even avoid invaders) > Destroy most enemies in the game with one or two clicks of a button > Gain massive income, salvaging and/or selling the spare parts that will be left over by enemies you destroy > Sustain massive damage and still be able to punish the fool dared to try to end you Pros of the build: > Vast energy pool, that will keep shields and repair-fields working up to three days (idle), or a day (under fire). > Infinite flight altitude due to powerful anti-gravity engines > Formidable arsenal of explosive weapons, guaranteed to penetrate any armor in one or two hit. Cons of the build: > Long charging. RA-I takes at least a day, to fully charge up and get all its shields to fighting condition. > Slow flying speed. RA-I is a fortress, ideal to defend destroy. Badly fiitting for exploration. > High level tech & enourmos cost. This is endgame tech, costly and full of high-level technology. Known issues: > This flying fortress possesses too much firepower and may cause lags on weak computers if firing continuously Rain from Above Mk. I - unleash Hell upon your defenceless AI (or not) enemies.
