HIF Atlas Frigate

Lore At the end of the War of Secession, part of the larger 1st great Gamma Quadrant war, the two major states to become independent had their battlefleets nearly completely depleted, and the few remaining warships were rendered obsolete by the wars end. This necessity lead to both states developing new balanced and most importantly, cheap warships. The engineers working on behalf of the admiralty of the Hishian Empire levied a solution which would become the Atlas class frigate. Measuring 36 metres long and jammed to the brim with the most advanced weapon systems of the time, the Atlas class quickly allowed the Empire to fortify it's northern border, as well as fending off pirates and detaining slavers which begun to operate in the east. Overall, the atlas class managed to outperform it's targeted expectations, leading it to become the backbone of the Imperial Fleet.
